Northgate Dental Health was founded by Ray McNamara in 1996 and has gradually increased to our current team.

Dentists

Dr Ray McNamara BChD qualified at Leeds Dental School in 1989, taking two clinical prizes before undertaking further training in the Hospital Service.  After several years working in the Warrington area, Ray founded the practice.  Areas of special interest include endodontics (root canal treatment), advanced rehabilitation, ethical cosmetic dentistry and management of the anxious patient.

Dr John Matthews BDS qualified at Manchester Dental School in 1989 and  worked in Chester for several years prior to joining us.  Areas of special interest include cosmetic dentistry and periodontics.

Dr Victoria Hughes BDS qualified in Birmingham Dental School in 1996 before winning the North Wales VDP prize.  Victoria joined the practice in 1998 and has a special interest in endodontics and care of the anxious patient.

Dr Minoc Vo BDS qualified in Liverpool Dental School in 2006 and is our Vocational Dental Practitioner.  All newly qualified dentists have to practice in an approved training practice for one year before being permitted to practice elsewhere.

Mrs Cindy Saebelfeld-Jones qualified from Liverpool Dental School as a combined Hygienist/Dental Therapist.  Cindy provides private dental hygiene on referral from our dental team and as a Dental Therapist can acrry our many dental treatments as well.

Practice Manager

Mrs Barbara Griffiths RDN Cert DPM is in overall control of the day to day running of the practice.  Barbara has been a Dental Nurse for most of her career and is qualified in Dental Radiography and Practice Management.  Barbara is our complaints co-ordinator.

Nursing Team

All Dental Nurses are required to be qualified and registered, or undertaking a training programme prior to registration.  Our team included Leanne, Claire, Emma and Tess.
