The place
We have recently relocated from our original building at No 5 into our split-level custom refurbished practice at 2 – 4 Upper Northgate Street, Chester.
This beautiful listed pair of Georgian town houses have been extensively modernised to provide state of the science facilities necessary for a top-level dental practice environment.
A spacious and comfortable two storey waiting area has been added to the rear of the building allowing access to upper and lower floor clinical areas. Full height windows allow a fantastic view of the famous Chester Walls.
The extensive ground-up refurbishment has allowed us to provide centralised instrument sterilisation, removing the traditional need for contaminated instruments to be cleaned in the surgical areas (see ‘hygiene’ page for more details).
We have been able to provide a disabled access lift, which allows patients to descend from pavement level down to our lower ground floor clinical area. On this level we have full disabled toilet facilities, three of our five treatment rooms and our main waiting area. All reception functions, account payments, etc may be carried out on the lower level.
We have retained as many of the original features as possible including the original sandstone wall to the rear elevation and moulded covings in the upper ground floor rooms.
